Participate

Target audience

We welcome designers, researchers, and practitioners from different areas of expertise, including but not limited to architects, urban designers, product designers, digital designers, policymakers, philosophers, engineers, and artists.

The workshop is accessible for 20-30 participants. We aim for a good mix of (design) backgrounds. Participants will be selected based on the originality and clarity of their submissions and their experience and interest in the workshop’s topics.

Call for position papers

We welcome submissions by researchers and practitioners from different areas of expertise, including but not limited to architects, urban designers, product designers, digital designers, policymakers, engineers, legal scholars, philosophers, and artists.

To participate, submit a position paper (max 2 pages including references using the ACM single column template) discussing an emerging technology that is, or will be, challenging our cities’ economic, social, and ethical lives. We are particularly interested in understanding how your work relates to such technology and your critical perspective.
